Konstantinos Lazarakis MW at a glance
Born in Piraeus, he studied Mechanical Engineering in the National and Technical University of Athens, as well as Jazz at Aeolian Music School. In 2002, at the age of 32, he became a Master of Wine, while being awarded with the “Bollinger Medal” and “Villa Maria Award” for outstanding performance in wine tasting and on the “Viticulture” paper respectively during his IMW exams. Many prestigious distinctions were to follow.
Being the first Master of Wine from Greece and the broader region of SE Europe, Konstantinos Lazarakis has been an active advocate for Greek wine around the world. Charismatic communicator and educator, he has been a source of inspiration for both the last and the coming generations of wine professionals in Greece and beyond, and has contributed decisively to the shaping of a sustainable wine culture and the establishment of world-acclaimed wine education in his birth land. Konstantinos’ book “THE WINES OF GREECE”, updated since 2018, is considered a textbook in English for anyone interested in the development of the Greek wine industry.
Konstantinos is the Imports Director for Aiolos Wines in Athens, co-owns the wine communications agency Wine Wonders, while works as a consultant for major associations and companies (Wines of Greece, Enterprise Greece, Aegean Airlines, Costa Navarino Resorts etc). He is President of the Thessaloniki International Wine and Spirits Competition, as well as of the Balkan International Wine Competition, and member of the International Food & Wine Society.
He founded W.S.P.C. in 2004 together with John Trypkos and Antonia Kyriazis, and carries the duties of Chairman.

With a degree in Food Technology from Athens Technological Institution (1981) and a Diploma in Food Microbiology & Quality Control TDRI from Great Britain (1985), he obtained his MBA in 2003 from Leicester University, UK.
Since 1986 he has been working in senior posts in production, sales and marketing in major wineries and companies in Greece, as BOUTARI, Ambelooiniki Ltd, Creta Olympias, KIR YIANNI, B.S. Karoulias, Vinalia. Nowadays he works as a wine business development consultant. Since 2006 he is a Senior Instructor at W.S.P.C..
Alexandros Bouzikas at a glance
Alexander Bouzikas is certified Sommelier by the Association de la Sommelierie Internationale, from Genius In Gastronomy and also by the Court Of Master Sommeliers.
He has been working as a Sommelier for 3 years at Danai Beach Resort and Villas Hotel in Halkidiki, and currently working as F&B Manager and Head Sommelier at Katikies Garden in Santorini. He is also a Brand Ambassador at Riedel The Wine Glass Company.
In 2017 he participated in the Greek Sommelier Competition for the Best Greek Sommelier of 2017, where he received the first place, and he will be represent our country at the European Sommelier Competition in 2020.

Anna Dimitriadis at a glance
Anna Dimitriadis holds a MSc in Wine Marketing by the O.IV. (International Organisation of Vine and Wine). Both her bachelor degree on Economics and International Relations and her first Master in Business Administration (MBA) are by the University of Macedonia in Thessaloniki. She has been working in the wine sector since 1998; currently she is Executive Director of MYCAVA by Depot des Vins wine shop in Thessaloniki. She has travelled in more than 25 wine producing countries and has tasted wine and spirits from around the globe. She has been judging wines in International competitions and has performed numerous presentations on wine for both novice and advanced audiences in Greece and abroad.
